The first edition of "Puertollano te ilusiona," a magic festival in the Spanish city of Puertollano, has come to a close, with organizers reporting a successful run. The event, which took place in late August, brought together international illusionists and drew significant crowds to public spaces.

According to the Ayuntamiento de Puertollano (Puertollano City Council), the festival ended on a high note, showcasing top-tier international illusionism. The city council's announcement highlighted the event's success in bringing magic to the streets of the municipality.

The festival featured a variety of performances across several days. One of the standout acts was a show by Pablo Romón titled "La magia es arte" (Magic is Art), which, as reported by MiCiudadReal.es, attracted more than 300 people to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Another major draw was family-oriented magician David el Mag, whose performance was seen by over 500 attendees, according to Lanza Digital.

The opening of the festival was marked by a performance from Billy Bluff, whose act "El velocípedo" (The Velocipede) was aimed at a younger audience. CLMPress reported that this first show filled the venue with magic for children. The lineup also included mentalist Jon Zabal, as previewed by La Comarca de Puertollano ahead of the event.

The mix of street performances, family shows, and mentalism appears to have been well received, with the city council declaring the initiative a success. The festival's ability to draw hundreds of spectators to each show suggests a strong appetite for live entertainment in the region.

As the curtain falls on this first edition, the question now is whether Puertollano will make "te ilusiona" an annual tradition. Given the reported turnout and positive reception, a second edition seems a likely prospect.
